Not for long, Dear

I have seen the troubled eyes as you smile,
The watery eyes as you pulled a hearty laugh,
The walls too have told so many of your sorrows,
Your face not short of epics of a sad tale,
I have seen the priest too at your place,

The sun is left with no rays to cast on you,
Not with the veil of misery on your face,
Everyday it dawns with a dark scarlet, a spell,
As the neon-lit alleys pack with neo-termites,
The stars will stare, as the moon dims with grim,

Not for long dear, mama sent me last night,
She is still worried of her rose in the city,
If it is more than a struggle, she wants you back,
She wants you back, now that you was in Prime News,
At least there she has place for you, only you,

O ooh!Dear, your children too crave for you,
Each night they talk of the city, by the fireplace,
they praise the neon-lights under the moonlight,
Grandma tells a story as they drink the goat-milk,
Tomorrow, she'll be traveling to the city, Alone.
